I'm 22, going on to 23 in December.
I've seen a lot of "Oh I started riding good at 25!" and such.
I'm so very interested in becoming a Jockey, whether it's hobby or small-scale at the minimum. I also live ~20 minutes from an equestrian center.
How can I pursue this reliably?

23 ei todellakaan ole liian myöhäistä aloittaa. Ottaisin vakavasti ratsastustunnit kyseisessä ratsastuskeskuksessa ja viettäisin sitten niin paljon aikaa kuin voit kokeneiden ratsastajien, kouluttajien ja vakaan työn ympärillä, jotta opit osat, jotka tapahtuvat ennen kuin pääset lähelle lähtöporttia. Jockey-työ on vaikea tie, mutta nyt aloittaminen ja oikean satula-ajan rakentaminen on paljon parempi kuin "täydellisen" iän odottaminen. 23 is definitely not too late to start. I’d get serious about riding lessons at that equestrian center, then spend as much time as you can around experienced riders, trainers, and stable work so you learn the parts that happen before you ever get near the starting gate. Jockey work is a tough road, but starting now and building real saddle time is a lot better than waiting for the “perfect” age.

Who should I talk too?

I'm volunteering for H.O.R.S.E, so I can at least get stable and equine knowledge while searching around for any potential coaches / people willing to train me for any work I do for them.
