Positive vibes needed on behalf of my friend Loulou1972, who posts on NR occasionally.
I have just come home after visiting her in hospital where she is recovering after surgery following a riding accident. Not the horse's fault in the least.
He was lovely and was really careful to avoid treading on her while she writhed in agony under his tummy.
Loulou's leg has been reconstructed with most of a Macarno set, plus a bone graft. Problems at airport security in the future
She has been told no skiing (which is not a problem as she doesn't ski anyway) and NO RIDING EVER again, she is trying to stay cheerful but events are making her feel very down. It doesn't help that she was waiting from Sunday to Thursday in absolute agony while she was waiting for the NHS to find a specialist willing to carry out the surgery.
I am hoping that the consultant is just being over cautious and that she will eventually be able ride again, even if things like jumping are off the menu.
I'm hoping that all you lovely NR people will send positive vibes Loulou's way to wish her a good and speedy recovery.
