Speakers on your saddle?

I find classical music relaxing which helped me no end when my confidence was low,it helped me relax which in turn kept my horse relaxed. I don't often go out in company so no conversation except between me and the horse which I do enjoy :)
I will also admit to pretending I am in some horse movie in the woods, like Lord of the rings or into the west and the music makes it more fun! I'm mad I know but I don't really care :)

This is why we are using it, singing helps my mum with her confidence when riding. I'm hoping singing along to music will help her relax.

Can't wait to get my 80's rock going :D As we are barefoot as well it might help ramblers hear us, I've been stuck behind ramblers a few times shouting excuse me as they walk along chatting and blocking the path as they can't hear us behind them! Lol

Just why? Why would you - OMG I can't think of anything worse when I am immersed in the beautiful countryside with my horse or my dogs! Or walking with friends or family  If conversation runs out then just enjoy the silence, not every moment has to be filled with noise and speech and distraction of music or a radio or whatever. Each to their own and all that, but I think I would gallop off into the distance if my riding buddy turned on the radio or started blasting music all over the countryside.:p
With great big, shiny brass knobs on!

I have to say I find it rude if I hack with someone who talks on the phone, they may as well be on their own.
Chatting and singing yes but I wouldn't want music, I expect mine would be a bit annoyed keeping the ears flicking about.

I would be too scared to hack and listen to music! Quite fancy music in the arena. Maybe the Rocky theme tune would get me cantering again (and falling off no doubt!)

We like a bit of Bach and Mozart in the indoor school. Unless Bjorn is in there then it's some ghastly Euro beat racket

I like the idea of music in the school, I believe horses have a good musical rhythmic sense. But like Wally and Cortrasna I treasure the quiet when I am out hacking! Mind you I've never owned a playing-music-in-the-ears device either. I think I'm just an old fogey.

Music in the school quietly can help you keep your tempo.
We are not permitted to have it playing loud, but you can have it for you.
I visualise with music, I plan to enter the music class next month :) Only because putting it together is part of the fun.
